The playlist contains a list of classical music pieces I have written long time ago, when I was teenager. At that time I would spend countless hours at home playing the piano. These tracks were recorded on my YAMAHA Clavinova CVP-92 (nice picture of it below) using the multi-track recording feature: after recording the piano track, I composed and recorded others accompanying instruments on top of it. These songs are not particularly complex. These were just studies I made back in those days when I was trying to figure out whether to go to the University or becoming a Musician. Each of these songs have a particular meaning to me. So, I like each of them in a particular way. But my favourites are the 2nd and the 4th one.
During my youth, I also played for several years in a band composed of friends I met in high school. In the band I mainly played keyboards, although I sometimes accompanied as a second guitarist. I have many fond memories of those years spent playing with my friends. For some of our pieces, I composed piano accompaniments starting from a series of chords. The piece that follows was composed back in 2004. I never had the time to write it down on paper; I kept it in my mind for about 20 years. Recently, I decided to transcribe it and share it with anyone interested. After transcribing the piece, I decided to dedicate this music to my beloved partner, and name it "April", in remembrance of that distant day when the love of my life began. Those interested, can find the sheet music here.
